Modern Condo Features at The Adele

This stone and brick office building was completely transformed in 2018 by architect Jane Nelson and interior designer Michael Hampton. In doing so, they crafted unique floorplans for each of the 14 units, including eight “City Collection” and six “Estate Collection” residences. The Adele is among a group of highly desirable condo buildings in the downtown area that can range from small and intimate to large and luxurious, including the Alta, the Cosmopolitan, Mather Studios, and City Center DC.

Layouts at the Adele range from one to two bedrooms and from approximately 650 to 2,100 square feet in size. There are only a few of the smaller units, with most offering well over 1,000 square feet of upscale living space. Some also have dens. The Estate Collection residences are especially roomy and also have their own private elevator entries. Select condos also have balconies or other outdoor spaces. Among the many features are oversized windows, interior French doors, wide-plank oak floors, and open chef-inspired kitchens with quartz counters, Woodmode custom cabinetry, and Gaggenau and Thermador appliances. The bathrooms are equally impressive with marble finishes, Waterworks fixtures, frameless showers, deep soaking tubs, Anne Sacks tiling, and heated floors.

Those fortunate enough to reside at the Adele also enjoy a striking front lobby with concierge service, assigned parking, and a landscaped roof deck with a wet bar and a gas fireplace. The location is also part of the allure, with numerous nearby attractions including famous museums, landmarks, theaters, coffee shops, upscale retailers, and many of the hottest restaurants in the city. Dining options include Founding Fathers, The Hamilton, Old Ebbitt Grill, Equinox, Georgia Brown’s, Lafayette, and so many more. For those who would rather not drive in the city, the Farragut North Metro is just a couple blocks away. This is truly one of the most exciting part of the District, with much to do and much to see.
